DRIVE One’s FREE Career Exploration Camp (C.E.C.) focuses on providing middle-through-high school students with an introduction into the Automotive and High Performance industries. These two-week courses will help students harness their skills and interest as they discover what it takes for a vehicle to go from conception to reality.
While in their respective course (Automotive-High Performance and Transportation Design), students will:
• Learn to Weld, Tune, & Set-Up Vehicles
• Design a Future Concept of a by-gone brand
• Expand Their Pre-College Art Portfolio
• Even Work On Professional Race Cars At The Track!
Projects will also help students discover the various career paths available to them, from Creative Designer to NASCAR Pit Crew.
The two week camp also include a Car Show On Sunday, July 18th and an Ice Cream Social on July 23rd.
Meals will be provided to student for each course.
Automotive + High Performance Exploration:
Students in Automotive Tech and High Performance Exploration will work on both circle and drag cars to prepare them for the track, then travel with the cars as they compete. These projects will allow students to learn basic automotive mechanics, from front alignments to tire pressure, and discover the various career opportunities available to them within the Automotive Industry.

Transportation Design Exploration:
Students in Transportation Design Exploration will work with actual GM Creative Designers to resurrect a by-gone car brand, and create a concept of what one of the brand's vehicles would look like today. These projects will provide students with an interest in car design a real-world introduction, as well as expand their pre-college portfolio, and discover the many careers in Product and Creative Development.
